This is me

As the daughter of a Pastor (PKs, where y'all at?!), my faith has always been a big part of my life.  After going off to college and getting a taste of the crazy life, I gave my life to Christ in January 2008 and I haven't been the same since!  My relationship with Jesus has grown every year and I continue to fall in love with His Word and teachings every day! No matter what new shenanigans I think up, I come to pray and ask God, "whatcha think about this, Lord?" and patiently wait for nudges I like to call "God Whispers" to guide me in any life decision. I know deep in my heart that He loves me, care for me and knows the number of hairs on my head - that's love, y'all!

Jesus is my homeboy

Scripture I'm learning this week:

Week 3 of keeping Devotional Yoga on the schedule brought 8 minutes and 46 seconds of standing meditation and THESE scriptures:

What does the Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. " Micah 6:8  NKJV

"Hate what is evil, love what is right, and see that justice prevails in the courts."  Amos 5:15

Living this Christian life isn't always easy, but I can say definitively that it's worth it!  I'm here to encourage you, weekly on the blog, daily on social media. I love sharing what I've learned about the bible scriptures, and I'm embracing this opportunity to share teachings outside of my Wednesday night bible study!   Also, if you haven't noticed, I overuse exclamation points :)
