About the event

Yoga is an integrative practice that helps us to achieve balance, promotes physical/spiritual health, and attain mental calmness.  With numerous spiritual and physical benefits, what issues could there be with making this practice part of my daily routines?  But still, I experience a recurring question from well-meaning individuals:  Should Christians practice yoga?

In this workshop, we will explore popular religious beliefs around the world and their view on practicing yoga. We will also discuss the 8 limbs of yoga, spiritual disciplines that align with yoga and various religions, and flow through a Devotional Yoga practice.  We will leave time for open conversation in connecting our faith with our yoga practice!
